Abstracts need to be submitted on-line at www.ampicon2010.com under the above listed categories. Abstract presenters must be registered for the conference. Abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings upon the receipt of registration before September 30, 2010.
Preferably the first author should be the presenting author. The presenting author is obliged to ascertain that all authors are aware of the content and should be an original work. The authors should ascertain that there is no plagiarism including self plagiarism.
Abstract titles should be brief (max. 30 words) and reflect the content of the abstract. Format: Times New Roman, 14pts font, Title case, bold and centered. Leave single line space
Authors’ names: Surname followed by initials. Presenting author name should be bold & underlined. Do not include titles and degrees. Format: Times New Roman, 12pts font center alignment.
Affiliation should provide in next line along with city and country. Format: Times New Roman, 11pts font, centered. Leave single line space.
Abstracts Format: Times New Roman, 12pt Font, single line spacing and justified. Abstract should be at least 250 words (maximum 350 words) and does not exceed a single A4 page (8.27 x 11.69 inches). Abstract should not contain any table and/or figures. Page margin must be 1.5 inch for left and 1 inch for top, bottom and right margins. It need be structured in such a way as to include: (1) Aim / Background; (2) Materials & Methods; (3) Results and (4) Conclusion. The use of standard abbreviations is permitted. Any special or unusual / nonstandard abbreviation must be placed (in brackets) after the first appearance of the word for which it stands. To facilitate the review process, abstracts must be in Microsoft Word (*.doc) version 6.0 and above.

In addition to the abstract, you can attach a supporting document of maximum two A4 pages consisting of figures, tables, graphs, diagram, explanation text, etc., to strengthen your abstract for acceptance by the reviewer. The supporting documents should either in PDF or Microsoft Word (*.doc) version 6.0 and above.
Submitted abstracts can be re-submitted with revision until July 21, 2010. The abstract will be published as submitted therefore careful proof reading is essential before submitting. Accepted abstract will be published in the conference proceedings of AMPICON 2010.
Only LCD projection would be provided for presentation with facility for preview. All the proceedings of the conference will be conducted in English.The Scientific Committee reserves the right to re-categorize the abstract, if required. Notification of acceptance will be sent only to the presenting authors by August 31, 2010
The tentative duration for presentation of refresher course, invited / guest lecture and proffered papers will be 30, 20 and 12 minutes respectively. The duration of presentation also includes the time for questions and answers / discussion.
For best oral paper and best poster sessions the duration of each presentation will be 10 min with 2min for question and answers. The time scheduled for the presentation would be strictly adhered.
Posters should be displayed in portrait format on the space 1m x 1.5m. The title should be at the top of the poster with the presenter(s) name(s) and affiliation(s) below the title. It is advisable to use fonts and illustrations that can be viewed from 1 meter away. Use appropriate labels, arrows, numbers or letters as required indicating the reading order. Authors will be fully responsible for display and removal of their posters.
