It is our pleasure to invite you to the 31st Annual Conference of Association of Medical Physicists of India (AMPICON 2010) which is to be held between November 18 - 21, 2010 at Shruti Auditorium, Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, India.

The theme of the conference is "Technological Innovations: Meeting the challenge".

Remarkable advances in medical imaging and radiation technology can now be harnessed to enhance precise target definitions, localisation and conformation of radiation. The conference would deliberate issues pertaining to work practices with the advent of new technologies and also include diverse aspects of applications of physics in medicine with a focus on technologies of medical imaging and radiation therapy.

Several well regarded international experts have very kindly given their consent to participate and enrich the deliberations and deliver talks on topical aspects in medical physics and radiation oncology.

We welcome you to Lucknow, the city of nawabs. The weather during middle of November is generally cool and pleasant with winter setting in.
